GazaPassage announced that it has received applications for the first 20% of slots for work permit passage for those in Gaza with construction, engineering, and trades (electricians, plumbers, etc) experience to an unnamed Latin American country.
Spokesperson Christopher Bedell noted that the requirements, first announced a week ago, have been relaxed for individual circumstances. Those original requirements included: “Non-combatant men ages 20-40 who have skills in construction, the trades, or engineering are eligible, according to the work permit sponsors, plus their families.”
The process for applying had until recently only been open to the original GazaPassage Pilot Participants, but International Envoy Edward “Coach” Weinhaus, Esq., has signaled the organization’s willingness to expand the pool. “The security review process will be done in bulk, so the faster we get to 100+% applications, the faster we can help non-combatants escape the war zone.”
Those with inquiries have reached out to Coach via LinkedIn and submitted the application with commensurate documentation listed below.
