When pressed about whether Hamas was preventing Americans from leaving Gaza, Blinken responded, “That’s correct.”
“The ball is in the Hamas’ court in terms of letting people who want to leave — civilians from third countries including Americans,” Blinken added.
GazaPassage is working to ensure nations like the US and other nations around the world help non-combatants leave Gaza for humanitarian purposes.
Hamas is preventing Americans and other foreign national non-combatants from exiting the Gaza Strip.
