According to the WSJ, HAMAS leader praised Egypt for keeping non-combatants in Gaza,
Ismail Haniyeh said of Gazan residents, “They will not leave Gaza.”
Haniyeh is reportedly leading HAMAS from Doha, Qatar. Qatar has a per capital GDP of $114,000 ranking it among the world’s wealthiest nations.
GazaPassage is working to ensure nations like Egypt and Qatar, and other nations around the world help non-combatants leave Gaza for humanitarian purposes.
The Law of Armed Conflict requires civilians be allowed to exit, particularly in siege conditions.
