At the Cairo summit of Arab leader, President Mahmoud Abbas refused to make any mention of allowing non-combatants to leave Gaza.
The summit was attended by Arab leaders including from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, and others.
“We won’t leave, we won’t leave,” President Abbas told the summit.
GazaPassage is working to ensure nations like Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, and organizations within them like the Palestinian Authority in this case, and other nations around the world help non-combatants leave Gaza for humanitarian purposes.
The likelihood of a ground war between Israel and HAMAS did not persuade attendees to accept non-combatants in their countries.
