Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf has demanded the United Kingdom accept non-combatants be given a path to safety in the UK. Yahoo News reported Yousaf saying:

“We have to, of course, bring people to the UK…”

Yousaf further conditioned his statement on whether the UK could do so.

GazaPassage is working to ensure nations like the United Kingdom (of which Scotland is part) in this case, and other nations around the world help non-combatants leave Gaza for humanitarian purposes.

The UK Foreign Office has not responded to Yousaf’s demands or noted its capacity to take in non-combatants.
