Economist Tyler Cowen suggests that Latin American countries should consider accepting non-combatant Gazans as immigrants, given the region’s history of successfully integrating migrants, including Brazil and El Salvador.

“I would gladly see Brazil and other Latin polities open their immigration to current Palestinians in the Middle East,” Cowen said.

GazaPassage is working to ensure Brazil and El Salvador and other nations and organizations around the world help non-combatants leave Gaza for humanitarian purposes.

Denmark also has Palestinian refugees and data shows their employment increases over generations. However, there are no reports Denmark has taken in non-combatants from Gaza.
