According to Reuters, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has instructed hospitals in the country to provide medical treatment to 1,000 Palestinian children from Gaza, along with their families.
However, details on how the children and their families would travel from the Gaza Strip to the Gulf nation were not provided.
GazaPassage is working to ensure the UAE and other nations and organizations around the world help non-combatants leave Gaza for humanitarian purposes.
It was unclear if the 1,000 Palestinian children and their families from Gaza would depart through the Rafah crossing into Egypt like those who have left through previous arrangements.
