Egypt has lowered its guard the same day it stated no refugees could leave Gaza by allowing some 400 foreign nationals out of Gaza through the Rafah border crossing.

This deal was weeks in the making after being earlier agreed.

According to GazaPassage’s International Envoy Coach Weinhaus’ reporting, Israel revealed that HAMAS had scuttled an earlier exit for the foreign nationals.

GazaPassage is working to ensure Egypt and other nations around the world help non-combatants leave Gaza for humanitarian purposes.

Egypt will have broken its “no exit” stand twice in 24 hours when non-combatants leave via Rafah for the Turkish/Egypt field hospital in the northern Sinai.
