Russia’s Chechnya province is constructing a Palestinian village in Grozny to house Gazan refugees fleeing the ongoing Israel-Hamas war from the Gaza Strip, according to The Jerusalem Post. So far, Russia has received around 1,200 Gazan refugees from the warfare.

The village will consist of five residential buildings with 35 apartments each, covering over 4,200 square meters in the Vizaitovskiy district. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov participated in the ceremony for the construction, aiming to help Gazan refugees adapt to life in Chechnya through housing, employment, and obtaining Russian citizenship.

GazaPassage is working to ensure nations and organizations around the world help non-combatants leave Gaza for humanitarian purposes.

So far, the UAEAustraliaCanada, and Turkey have taken a GazaPassage Pledge to help non-combatants leave Gaza, and many others are considering it.

GazaPassage has added a second prong to save innocent lives by supporting GazaConstitution.org, whose goal is “to help create the framework of a governing body in the Gaza-of-the-future to ensure an overall and lasting peace.”

Chechnya has bravely and loudly stepped in to pledge to house non-combatants where many countries in the Middle East have tried to hide their humanitarian efforts due to political concerns.
